So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
A working knowledge of the mechanics of these commonly used RR Types should now be yours and we now have some appreciation of the subtleties that creep in when the number of RRs (either within a single zone or across numerous collections of zones) becomes very large.
These principles can be applied to make managing complex portfolios of domains somewhat easier, especially with respect to the two DNS biggies: outages and changes.
