I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Via glue records
This alternative method is sub-optimal, for one reason because the TLD glue records will typically hold longer TTLs, but it works better than total outages. If you are perhaps running unicast nameservers, or not announcing nameservers from within your own address space (see Chapter 12, Nameserver Considerations), you can obtain similar results by doing the following:
- Keeping the TTL on your NS hostname RRs very low, such as 300 seconds or even less
- When DDoS-ed, change the glue records for your nameservers to the IPs of the nameservers colocated within the scrubbing centers
