I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Web phishing
Similar to authenticating your email communications, you can secure your web channels by forcing all connections through https and having your server validated via Transport Layer Security (TLS) certificates. Attackers can still set up fake domains impersonating yours and "authenticate" them with TLS certificates validating the fake names.
Often, if your business attracts this type of attack (and pretty near any online enterprise does at some point), you are on to the remediation phase.
As you become aware of attacks, you can send takedown requests to the abuse desks of the key vendors who will inevitably be involved, which are as follows:
- Web hosts or VPS providers
- Managed DNS providers (providing DNS for domains)
- Registrars ...
