Impact of the New Solution
• Productivity improved by 35 minutes per day per lawyer and
paralegal—A result of implementing wireless mobility and IPT
messaging, database applications, and call accounting capabilities.
• Lower operational costs—The legacy PBX system was removed and
associated lease costs were eliminated. Long-distance toll charges were
virtually eliminated, and phone system moves, adds, and changes
(M.A.C.s) were completed in about half the time. M.A.C.s were handled
by an administrative assistant instead of the trained, dedicated network
administrator who was needed for the PBX system.
