agreed-on timeframe during which a subscriber must identify any network
downtime, report it, and request the credit.
Even though SLAs typically offer subscriber credits for failure to deliver on
promised service levels, nobody really wants to collect the credit. The credit will
not recover lost revenues or repair customer dissatisfaction caused by a network
failure.
