So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

It is important to ensure that both intranets and extranets:
• Are easy to set up, configure, and support.
• Deliver the needed functionality. The company must decide whether
applications will be mostly dynamic discussion- and collaboration-based
or more static and publishing-based.
• Support third-party solutions and tools.
• Provide reliable quality of service.
• Scale as the business and the number of network users grow (or shrink).
