So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The emerging technologies highlighted in this chapter include a mix of local
area network (LAN), metropolitan area network (MAN), and wide area network
(WAN) technologies—storage networking, Metro Ethernet, content delivery
networks (CDNs), Mobile IP, and IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6). These
