Correcting Mistakes in Customer Payments Entries
You can correct mistakes that you make in entering customer payments in basically the same way that you correct mistakes that you make in entering cash sales.
First, you display the window you used to enter the transaction. In the case of customer payments, click the Customer Center icon and select the customer you need. You see a list of that customer’s transactions on the right side. Double-click the payment transaction you want to change, and the original payments screen appears. And then you make your changes. Then you click Save & Close. Pretty straightforward, right?
