fnbind — Bind a Reference to an FNS Name

/usr/bin/fnbind [-s][-v][-L] name new-name /usr/bin/fnbind -r [-s][-v] new-name [-O | -U] ref-type { [-O | -U] addr-type [-c | -x] addr-contents} ...
Description
fnbind binds the Federated Naming Service (FNS) reference named by name to the name new-name . The second synopsis of fnbind (using the -r option) enables the binding of new-name to the reference constructed, using arguments supplied in the command line.
Options
-c | Store addr-contents in the given form; do not use XDR encoding. |
-L | Create an X/Open Federated Naming (XFN) link by using name and bind it to new-name . |
-O | Specify the identifier format as FN_ID_ISO_OID_STRING, an ASN.1 dot-separated integer list string. |
