You might be asking yourself, “Why would I shoot a pano when I can use my iPhone’s ultra-wide-angle lens?” There are two main reasons: (1) the ultra-wide-angle lens pushes the scene in front of you away, so everything looks smaller and farther away and you lose a sense of scale (we looked at when to use the ultra-wide-angle lens back on page 93). For example, if you take a shot of the Eiffel Tower in Paris with your ultra-wide-angle lens, the tower is going to look small in the shot.
