I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Capturing the Moment vs. Composition
This one is mostly about travel, but there are instances when it will happen shooting landscapes. It’s that moment when you’re standing there shooting and notice something fascinating, or unusual, or just plain interesting happening. It’s a “moment.” It might be when you’re walking in a city, and you see two grandmothers greet each other with a loving hug, their smiles beaming, and it’s just a beautiful, touching moment, and there you are with a camera.
