Adding Captions to Your Photos (and Why It Helps)

If your photo needs a little more context, you can add a caption to it by swiping up on the photo in the Photos app, and you’ll see a caption field appear right below it. Type in your text, then tap Done at the top right, and you’re all set (as seen above left). But, beyond simply describing what’s in the photo, that caption field is now searchable. So, if you wrote, “Here are the kids at the Magic Kingdom,” you could then tap on the Search icon at the bottom right of the Photos app and find that photo by searching for “magic” or “kingdom” or “the kids,” and it would bring up any photos that have ...
