Besides my favorite Portrait lighting look (High-Key Light Mono, covered on page 191), if you shoot in Portrait mode (we looked at this back on page 44), there are some other built-in lighting effects you can apply, either as you’re taking the shot, or afterward when you’re editing it. They are designed to look like you either used studio-style lighting or actually went into a studio and shot on a white (for the high-key look) or black background.
