Corporate strategy is usually only useful if you get people engaged with helping you to make it work. You have to explain your strategic ideas to the leadership team to get them to support your ideas, and you will have to communicate and involve people at all levels. Selling is often the forgotten part of the strategy process – the part that convinces people that the strategy is a credible and worthwhile way of shaping the future.
