No strategy is ever 100% final. Understanding that conversations people have with brands and the ways brands interact with consumers are changing can help your brand take a look at what is going on in the social sites and adapt to the various changes as needed. Because these conversations are essentially happening in real time, you need to remember that engaging with others online is just like having a conversation in real life. Change truly is a constant, and learning how to roll with the changes is what can help to keep the efforts interesting.
Social media efforts can grow stale for various reasons. Users can simply find your updates to be less interesting and start engaging with you less. If your campaign started with contests, you may find it costly to keep up with the financial obligations for these promotions.
Having a conversation with someone using social media is no different than having a conversation in real life. Nobody wants to hear you talk all the time and sometimes you have to think of new things to talk about because you're not getting much feedback or interest from the other party.
