Setting Up the Agent Manager
The agent manager is a server task that manages the running of agents on the server. Agents can consume lots of server resources, so we have to ration the resources to them. Agents can also run out of control, so we need a way to kill them if necessary. The agent manager keeps agents from taking over the computer.
The agent manager runs automatically on all servers because amgr is included in the servertasks variable of each server's notes.ini file. You can stop the agent manager by issuing the command tell amgr quit at the server console. You can restart the agent manager with the command load amgr.
