I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Tuning the IMAP Service
There are a series of notes.ini variables that you can set to refine the way the IMAP mail service works. They are described in Table 17.4:

Set to 1 to cause IMAP to return the exact size of MIME messages. Defaults to 0, which permits IMAP to return an estimated message size.
It is much easier for Domino to estimate the sizes of messages than to determine their exact sizes, so its setting will affect the server's performance. Set this variable only if IMAP mail clients require exact message sizes. Alternatively, you can set the "IMAP server returns exact size of message" in a Configuration document to either "Enabled" or "Disabled." If you ... |
