This database-level authority allows a user to perform the following functions within a specific database:
- Create, drop, alter and, comment on security-related objects
- Grant and revoke all privileges and authorities, including DBADM, SECADM, DATAACCESS, ACCESSCTRL, EXPLAIN, SQLADM, WLMADM, and LOAD
- Transfer ownership of any object not owned by the SECADM
- Grant or revoke execute privileges on audit system-refined functions and routines
- Create database audits using the Db2 audit facility
- Grant or revoke connect privilege to a database
- Grant or revoke read privileges on system catalog tables and views
- All of the tasks listed in the ACCESSCTRL database-level authority
