So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Management and performance
The management is the ability to perform online table reorgs at the data partition level in a range partition table. With v11.1.2.2, pureScale member crash recovery is faster, thanks to a better hashing algorithm and increased parallelism in GLM recovery, benefiting larger clusters the most. pureScale now supports database rebuild functionality.
Work around group buffer pool (GBP) locking and storage management was done in v11.1, with significant improvements, especially for large tables involving TRUNCATE|DROP|LOAD|INGEST WITH REPLACE commands.
