It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Monitoring an Ingest operation
Like other DB2 database utilities, the Ingest utility has two simple commands to monitor progress:
- INGEST LIST
- INGEST GET STATS FOR <id>
These commands must be run on the same machine running the Ingest utility. The command syntax and the following diagram showcase the output result:
INGEST LIST; INGEST GET STATS FOR 1; INGEST GET STATS FOR 1 EVERY 1 SECONDS;
