So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Cluster-caching facility (CF)
The CF is the communication switchboard. It is a software application managed by Db2 Cluster Services, which maintains a centralized global locking registry and a data page caching registry. Global Lock Manager (GLM) controls locking events, and Global Buffer Pool Manager (GBP) controls data page events. A global event occurs any time two or more members want the same data at the same time.
