I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Workloads
A workload is an object that is used to identify submitted database work, based on the application user-name or authorization ID, so that it can be managed. At any given point in time, a unique application connection attribute can be assigned to one and only one workload; however, one workload can host multiple application connection attributes.
The connection attributes tracked by a Db2 workload are:
- Application name
- System authorization name
- Session authorization name
- Role session authorization name
- Group session authorization name
- Client user ID
- Client application name
- Client workstation name
- Client accounting string
The following table shows the default Db2 WLM workloads:
