Monitoring Db2 Activity
This chapter will teach you how to monitor Db2 instances, databases, objects, and workloads using monitor table functions and administrative views. You will be able to troubleshoot instance, database, and application-related issues using the Db2 problem determination (db2pd) and Db2 text-based monitoring (dsmtop) tool commands. You will also learn how to utilize the event monitors and explain facilities within Db2.
After the completion of this chapter, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to:
