Tablespace rebalance operation
When you add a new storage path to an existing storage group, or when you remove an available storage path from an existing storage group using the ALTER STOGROUP statement, the Db2 database manager performs a rebalance operation. A forward rebalance happens when you add a storage path, and a reverse rebalance happens when you remove a storage path. Optionally, you can use the ALTER TABLESPACE statement with the REBALANCE clause to initiate an immediate rebalance operation.
The tablespace rebalance is not supported in pureScale. Use the ADMIN_MOVE_TABLE () procedure to manage disk storage allocations for tables in pureScale.
