So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Db2 pureScale is made up of one or more Db2 LUW instances. Each Db2 instance is completely independent and runs workloads assigned to it. These are called members. They can be started, stopped, installed, dropped, or upgraded, independently. Members have their own db2sysc process, threads, local buffer pools, memory regions, and active logs.
