I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Laying on Hair
Sometimes it is necessary to lay the hair straight onto the face with spirit gum. This may be to cover the hair lace edges of sideboards or a beard, but it may also be to create a whole moustache. It is very time-consuming and not an easy process. It needs a great deal of practice.
Place hair between two drawing mats, roots protruding, so that a little hair can be drawn at a time.
Hold the hair close to the roots between the fingers and thumb of the nondominant hand.
Apply spirit gum to a small section of the skin.
