I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Foam Latex Pieces
The invention of foam latex pieces revolutionized make-up special effects. The matt surface does not reflect light in the same way as other materials; it is light to wear, making prolonged wear more comfortable; and it creates a more realistic appearance.
If an ageing make-up requires prosthetics there will be many very fine, small pieces made for each section of the face to enable the face to move naturally. Larger pieces would restrict this natural movement.
The making of these pieces is very specialized and is generally contracted out to people with the required scientific background. The make-up could be designed by the make-up designer for the production and then discussed and finalized with the prosthetics specialist. ...
