I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Formulas
NetSuite allows us to build searches based on formulas, in the same way that Excel does. To extend the standard criteria options by entering SQL formulas into the query, click the criteria drop-down and scroll down to the word Formula in the list. We will need to select the type of formula that will be used in this specific criteria, such as, Formula Date, Formula Numeric, and Formula Text. Selecting a formula option results in a popup window where we can select from the standard formula in the FUNCTION dropdown as well as selecting the NetSuite fields from the FIELD dropdown, in order to create the formula to be applied:
