I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Global permissions
It invariably happens that management identifies a superuser who needs more permissions than were granted to their role. The sales manager, for instance, may ask for one of their reports to be given additional permissions for searches and exports because that person is required to perform extra analysis for the company. The standard sales rep role that was assigned to all sales reps, including this user, is insufficient for this task.
What do we do? Creating a new role and assigning it to this user seems like overkill and increasing the number of roles complicates the setup even more. NetSuite has therefore introduced a feature to address this. It is called Global Permissions and is found in the Permissions section at ...
