I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Workflows
As we have seen, NetSuite packs in a lot of tools to standardize and automate processes across an entire company, yet it may not automate all the processes that your company requires. What do we do then?
Scripting is always an option, but that can be costly and time-consuming, so NetSuite has included a point-and-click automation builder called SuiteFlow.
SuiteFlow is very powerful but does have its limitations. It can, however, automate a number of tasks, such as approval routing, automating the inputting of data, and normalizing data, and it can even create completely new records based on certain criteria. This chapter includes the following:
