I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Transaction search example
Build a Sales by Customer search. Calculate the total sales by customer and specify each customer's smallest and largest transaction.
Go to Lists | Search | Saved Search | New and select Transactions:
- Name the search Sales By Customer Search.
- Go to the Criteria tab:
- Add a filter of Type = Invoice and Cash Sale. The Type filter should always be the first filter that you add to a transaction search.
- The next filter to determine is the option for Main Line. This determines whether the transaction will be summarized in the result or whether it will return all line items in each transaction.
