I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Extending CSV imports
The import wizard gives us access to change almost every field in the database. Almost. So what do you do if you can't find the field you need to change? We can use this workaround.
NetSuite has a lot of built-in functionality but the developers can't think of every possible automation. After all, if they did, there would be no need for upgrades! So, NetSuite provides us with a tool to automate processes and transform records, named the workflow manager. The workflow manager can be used in conjunction with CSV imports to accomplish things that either one could not do on its own.
