NetSuite tries to make the interface as intuitive as possible for each user. The Lists menu makes no sense to an AR clerk, so it provides a menu called Customers instead. A group of menus is called a center and you should consider which center should be chosen for each role you will set up. Each role has a corresponding center and we can see examples of different centers in the following screenshot comparing the administrator role with a sales role and a warehouse manager role:
