The Available filters tab appears next. It enables the user to pivot the data and is similar to the Advanced Filters in Excel. This is a great tool for administrators to create a search for users and lets them refine it as they need to, for instance, to build a search for all customers in California and to allow the user to refine the search for a specific city. One could, of course, build the city search as criteria instead—city = 'San Francisco' and city =' San Diego' and so on—but it is unmanageable because of the number of cities one would need to create individual searches for. Better to create the template for the user and allow them to execute their own city search based on their needs:
