It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Quicker Access to Your Favorite Commands
Because of the large number of shortcuts available, you will want to memorize the shortcuts for only the commands you use most often. Of course, the commands used by one user might differ considerably from those used by another.
Note
Some of the keyboard shortcuts listed here, such as PR and MO, exist to assist users who have worked with the previous versions of AutoCAD to transition to using AutoCAD 2000. These have been indicated in the list by an asterisk (*). You might wish to replace them with shortcuts of your own—you can learn how by referring to Chapter 20, "Customizing Made Easy."
