Visual Basic for Applications
Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is an object-oriented programming environment. It was initially available in the Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project environments and has more recently been added to AutoCAD. As with Visual LISP, VBA offers an "integrated development environment" to help you design and test your programs.
To give you the opportunity to compare the different approaches of VBA and AutoLISP, the second half of this chapter replicates the AutoLISP programs from the first half of the chapter, but this time in VBA.
