Dimensioning with Style
Since AutoCAD Release 12, the Dimension Style command (dimstyle) and the Dimension Style dialog box have been available to users. However, the earlier versions of this command and interface were limited in versatility and were somewhat confusing in terminology. With each subsequent release of AutoCAD, the features available and the functionality of the dialog box have consistently improved. Click the Dimension Style button—at the far right on the Dimension toolbar—to take a quick look at the new Dimension Style Manager.
