Enhancing Your 3D Image
There are a number of tools AutoCAD provides you with to greatly enhance your 3D model to help you visualize your final design much more clearly than viewing a basic wireframe representation. With a complex wireframe shape, it becomes very confusing trying to distinguish whether you are looking at the model from the back, front, top, or bottom given all the tessellation lines (lines that help visualize ruled surfaces) are visible. There are three different types of visual images available: Hidden, Shaded, and Rendered.
