Converting Files with the Migration Assistant
The Migration Assistant analyzes and upgrades files to work within the AutoCAD 2000 environment. Which Migration Assistant function you use depends on which file you want to convert for use in AutoCAD 2000. To install the AutoCAD Migration Assistant, double-click the Setup.exe file from the Migration directory on the AutoCAD 2000 CD. Then the individual tools can be accessed from a single program interface and launched from the Start button Program Files list on the desktop. The interface is displayed in Figure C.1.
