Creating Rendered Images
When a designer wants to present his design in a realistic image form, traditionally he would have had to possess the artistic skills to finish his conceptual design using a number of techniques like watercolors, colored pencils, air-brushing, and so on. With the Rendering tools available in AutoCAD 2000 you can achieve the same effects without acquiring the skills of an artist.
Here are the three different rendering types:
Render—This is the basic render. It allows you to adjust and add lights, add background images or colors with output file options such as *.GIF, *.TIF files, and so on.
Photo Real—This is a photo-realistic renderer that will display transparent materials and mapped shadows.
