Inserting or Embedding Online Video

If you want to include a video in a Word document and don’t have one, you can search for and insert an online video from the web using Bing Video Search (New!) or a connected online service, such as YouTube (New!), or you can paste a copied video embed code from other online sources (New!), such as Vimeo. An embed code is HTML code that specifies the location of the video on the web. The embed code links the video to the document that is stored on the web; the actual video is not part of your document, which is good; it prevents a large document size.
