Co-authoring Documents with Office Web Apps
If you’re working with an Office document stored on a SharePoint site, multiple authors can collaborate on the same document at the same time (New!), known as co-authoring. Co-authoring allows you to see who is editing the document and where they are working in the Status bar or on the File tab Info screen. With Office Web Apps you can simultaneously edit documents, known as co-authoring. Co-authoring allows two or more people to work on a document at the same time in real-time without the need to save and reject or accept changes.
