So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

David Lasky and Frank Young are artist/writers whose dream is to create a 192-page full-colour graphic novel that tells the story of country music’s first family, the Carter Family. They proposed it to a publisher and got an advance, but not enough to pay the bills for the long time it would take to write, draw and colour this epic work.
They decided to try to see whether they could raise $5000 using a crowdfunding site called Kickstarter.
