Workflow

Workow is the managed process or mechanism

by which images acquired on set make their

way to editorial, through post production, vis-

ual effects, color correction, archival, and onto

the screen. It is as the process whereby images,

audio, and metadata are recorded, backed up,

distributed, and safeguarded. In a digital cinema

workow, the full dynamic range of the uncor-

rected wide gamut images should be recorded,

along with ASC CDLs (Color Decision Lists)

and/or 3DLUT(s) as a metadata recipe for post

color correction, which can then be used non-
