Color

Color is the resulting effect of light in the vis-
ible region of the spectrum of wavelengths
from 380nm to 780nm on human visual per-
ception. Our retinas have (basically) three
types of color photoreceptor cone cells which
respond to wavelengths of visible light with
different spectral response curves.
