correct corresponding output values by inter-
polating between the correspondences used for
input values that are “neighbors” to an input
value for which no explicit correspondence exists.
LUTs can be used to transport on-set color
correction adjustments to post production for
color grading. By employing an on-set color
transform or “LUT box,” it is possible to gen-
erate viewing LUTS for use on set that can be
carried into post production as a preliminary or
