Workmanship Standard
e Information Workmanship Standard (IWS) is dened as “the minimum acceptable quality
level for transactions, job functions, work processes and ultimately the resulting information.”
Without a standard there is confusion regarding work expectations. e IWS, such as nancial,
quality, and a variety of other standards, clearly denes the expectations associated with informa-
