In this topic, the variation of polarizability, polarization and dielectric constant of the dielectric with the frequency of the applied electric field has been explained. The permittivity of a dielectric material is equal to ε0εr, where εr is called the relative permittivity or dielectric constant of the material and ε0 is the permittivity of the free space.
