The text dashboard component

For the Smart Doorbell dashboard, we will use the text dashboard component to display the output from the function component.

To add a text dashboard component to the dashboard, do the following:

1. You will find the text dashboard component under the dashboard section on the left. Click and drag the text dashboard component onto the canvas.
2. Connect the output of the function component to the input of the text dashboard component.

3. Double-click on the text dashboard component to enter the Edit text node dialog box.
4. Fill out the fields as shown in the following screenshot:
