Viewing telemetry data from our edge device
In Chapter 4, Working with Microsoft Azure IoT Hub, in the Connecting to Azure IoT Hub with the Device Explorer tool section, we installed the Device Explorer tool from Microsoft. In this section, we will use this tool to view the telemetry coming from our Raspberry Pi Azure IoT Edge device. We will connect the Device Explorer to the IoT Hub and view the output from the edge device. To do this, follow these steps:
- From the Azure portal home page, click on the IoT Hub resource (AresHub) under the Recent resources list.
- Under the Settings list on the left, click on Shared access policies.
- Click on iothubowner under the Policy list.
